The problem you run into is bonding. As an exampe if you bond a brick with porter you can't use the brick again in a structrual sense because it just won't work since the cracks and surface is just flooded with this particular bonding material. The same goes with speakers it's bonded in many different places and you'd have to undo those to replace it. Really it's probably going to be more of a pain than it's worth. Really though if it's just you wanting to because you can go for it. But you will find the bonding issue a bit tricky to get around.i have a circa 90s JBL gt82 dual 4ohm voice coil sub with one of the VCs burned out, it gets no power, and was wondering if anyone here knows how to repair VCs? is it even worth fixing?
roflmao, what?Do you have a door the wind blows shut ...
Are your papers getting blown on the floor ...
Does your boat drift when you are fishing ...
Just be creative , maybe a Rhododendron sprouter![]()
If it does move then atleast it's not fused, however, the coil may simply have a bad spot in it. There are 2 reasons that happens.yeah the cone'll move but one side doesnt get power. i guess ill just use this one for some bs project and get some more.![]()
