My mids will be going in sealed kick pods. Mids need .25 cf of sealed volume. That is 1.8 gallons of water, ha i plan on filling up my kick pods with water and I will figure volume that way.

Anyways ha I bet I couldn't evan pour 1 gallon of water in my pod, which is like .125 cubic feet.

Q's and F's?

I take it the higher the Q, the better the driver will work in IB?

I heard when I make the enclosure smaller than its rated at, I will have a spike in the F3??

I assume thats a low end roll off? Why would it evan matter if they are mids playin midrange? I will be using a single 10" in the trunk.

thnks guys! I appreciate all the input

I've been told that enclosure size doesn't really matter if the speaker is only playing the midrange frequencies. THEN, I've also been told using too small of an enclosure does affect the frequencies in the lower midrange, causing nasty peaks due to early reflections from the rear of the enclosure.

I'd rather not take a chance of having to tame peaks & just cut some openings to let the mids breathe to the outside of the vehicle, or into some other cavities inside the vehicle.
