@ItsonlyaHONDA is putting together a tool list. He asked me some questions so I thought this would make a good discussion.
What are your go to tools.
And what order would you buy them in.
I will have to think about this before I contribute. I have been accumulating tools for over 40 years. I have purchases some I rarely use or bought cheap ones when I should have gone for a better one.

Is this list for someone starting in the 12v trade? Or more for the diyer to come and check out?
In either case starting with a decent set of nylon pry tools is a must. That and a roll of painters tape to protect surfaces you are prying against.
Amazon.com

Second I would follow up with a good set of screwdrivers, torx screwdrivers and hex screwdrivers. I see so many young guys using a drill driver to make things easy but scratching surfaces as they haven’t mastered hand usage.

These are a life saver cause dropping small screws from the dash to the floor sucks. Price is good considering the snap-on alternative of over $400 for the set.

Links aren't working for me, but perhaps it's an issue on my end.

It's a toss up. Fleshlight or bong. lol
My old ass read that as flashlight and not fleshlight. I meant flashlight as I work in a dark ass shop and can never have enough light. Jokes on me lol

I usually go flashlight and beer/bourbon

If you don't want to spend Snap-on money then check out Tekton for hand tools. A lot of their tools were previously made in Taiwan. They have since moved production of screwdrivers to USA made. Better than harbor frieght and warranty just by sending a picture of your broken tool. Here's a screwdriver link to the classic hard handles.

I have a full cabinet shop actually. And I let a friend make gun displays over the wknd. He didn’t turn any dust collection on at all.
I do this for a living though. I restore antique wood floors and need festool tools and dust collection in houses

interior automotive panel poppers. any brand just as long as they are the right size/shape.

RTV Silicone. in my house/garage, no custom job is complete without using some amount of RTV Silicone.
Agreed, so many applications. I've even used it to make moulds, a trick I learned from rock climber friends that made custom holds.
