I am about to put a CD-400 into my car and the Nak unit is missing the thin frame around the face plate. It is also missing the rear RCA out cable and Aux Input cable (those are special cables for Nak).

Could anyone help me find those? Used would be great or new, but where? I'm in Boston.

Have you tried contacting Nakamichi directly?

From what i have heard, Nakamichi kinda pulled out of the US market a few years ago but there still might be some active dealers here in the states that still may have stock or access to them.

Another option would try to find a dealer via google and possibly ebay.

The only phone number that Nak seems to provide is in Singapore. I'm trying to figure out how to contact them or one of their local distributors.

I think any face surround will do - from CD-300, 400, 500, 700. Given the fact that, I think, they all came with a pair of those little surround frames, maybe somebody has one?

You're talking about the plastic trim ring that surrounds the face, right? I have a feeling I have an extra one for a 45z. It's not in perfect condition, but it's likely good enough. Shoot me an email and I'll check when I get home from work.

I might have an extra wiring harness--- I'll have to take a look.

I have a CD400 boxed up as a back up HU in case my Alpine poops out-- loved that deck, had it in 3 separate installations...

Could you take a look-see if there is one or two front face frames with that deck? I've seen pics with two out of the box for some reason.
