Up front will be Audiofrog gs690 midrange (100rms) with gs10 tweeter (75rms), rear will be Morel maximo coaxial (80rms). I'll have a minidsp for tuning.
I am considering:
  • Audiocontrol LC-6.1200 (125rms x 6 channels)
  • JL xd600/6v2 (75rms x 6 channels)
  • JL xd800/8v2 (75rms x 8 channels - the channels for the mids bridged to make 200rms).
Thoughts on which amp? I'm open to other suggestions as well!

I've got the lc6.1200 and i like it, a ton of features you might not need with a dsp of course.

Thanks! That was one of my thoughts about the Audiocontrol - not sure if I’d use all the features it provides (extra cost I’m sure) and if the extra headroom from the 50+rms over the JL is worth it.

I have a LC-1.800 and its been a solid amp. Make sure you read the instructions in full if you choose them...you will get a good laugh for sure.

I've loved their owners manuals Easter eggs since the 90's! Top quality support also.

Any other thoughts on which amp?

Would there be a big difference of the 200rms going to the mid with the JL xd800 vs the 75rms with the JL xd600?
