I have 2 rockford p3 d2s (wired up to 4 ohms each) and am wanting more power. I came across a few 2 and 4 channel amps but posts in another forum made them seem like bad choices. Does anyone have any first hand (or even second hand) experience with this amp?

it would be seeing a 2 ohm load for my 2 12's and is quite reasonable priced, but my fear is, are the days of old awesome PPI quality gone since DEI purchased them from ADSt? Im VERY familiar with PPI when they were under A/D/S/ ownership (I have several old PPI PC amps and an A/D/S/ PowerPlate PQ20.2), but havent heard much positive stuff about them in recent years... Anyone know anyone who has this amp? Is is a cheapy because its a POS?

Any advice based upon user history with the brands mentioned etc etc etc would be helpful (btw, i know that Sundown Audio is one of the kings of the hill LoL)

that amp would be just about perfect for those woofers, not nearly using it to its full potential but that's never a bad thing. The new PPI is..well its not crap but its nothing like the old pc stuff. In other words, do your install carefully and it should las you a long time.

which one, the PPI amp? Or are you referring to one of the below two?
