Hey guys, I just bought a dual voice coil 4 ohm alpine type r 10" sub and a ported box. People have been telling me to run my amp parallel but being as I only have 1 I have no idea how to do this. Is it the same concept as bridging an amp? I know people said that running it parallel would give it 2 ohms of resistance, but again I have no clue how to do this and was hoping one of you could help me. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

you should have 2 sets of + and - terminals on the sub. Both +'s(red) go to the + on the amp, and both -'s (black) go to the minus terminal on the amp.
