Bump - all this stuff for sale and noone has anything?
You bring up a good point. I guess there really is no reason, as even at 8 ohms I should have enough power to run basically anything I can fit into my door...Just curious why you are set on 4ohms? I only ask because there are many quality drivers but most of the are 8ohms DIY/home drivers which is what this site was based on when it was created![]()
You have PM sir!Haha fair enough....Well that being said, I got some LNIB Dayton RS180-4 mids for $70 shipped and I will throw in some extra install accessories for you. Let me know![]()
I don't know, I am honestly not familiar with them; which line? Not that I am selling them, but would you be interested in Mach 5s at all?
Oh man - if I could find an 8" that could extend up like my Seas to fill my 2-way, I'd be rebuilding my doorsCan you fit an 8"? I have some Diamond DA8.6s I'm not using. And depending on which I like better, either some ZR800s or some RS225s.
Not off-axis they don't.Those diamonds would work i bet....Look into and RCF driver, they make a carbon fiber 8 that plays up to 4k i believe.....
Which driver? I'm sure the 8's won't sound great to 4k off axis, but mating them to a decent tweeter up to 2.5k or so should be ok, no?Not off-axis they don't.![]()
Right - my driver side midbass is horribly off-axis...Not off-axis they don't.![]()
You mean like my Diamonds? Flat out to 6KHz.Oh man - if I could find an 8" that could extend up like my Seas to fill my 2-way, I'd be rebuilding my doors![]()
Fair enough, but how many drivers do? Even the L4, which goes to 17KHz on-axis falls off off-axis.Not off-axis they don't.![]()
Of course they all do, but I will still try and choose the lesser of 2 evils...Fair enough, but how many drivers do? Even the L4, which goes to 17KHz on-axis falls off off-axis.
PM sent, but they're probably going to be out of my price range...I have a BNIB pair of Scan Speak 18w8545 7" mids. Very nice mids/mid bass. Shoot me an offer if your interested.
Which is why I suggested the Diamonds. If they go up to 6K on axis they should still be usable up around 3K off axis.Of course they all do, but I will still try and choose the lesser of 2 evils...
Worth looking into thenWhich is why I suggested the Diamonds. If they go up to 6K on axis they should still be usable up around 3K off axis.
