Found a set of the alpine tweeters for a decent price locally. Guy said he removed the grille on his set when he used them and can only find one.

Just wondering if anyone here just happens to have a fried tweeter from this set that they'd be willing to part with the grille for a few bucks for.

Glad to see you found some good replacement tweeters bud. I haven't heard those - but I can't imagine they are bad at all =) Nice that the price was right too.

It looks like I'll just be buying another used DRZ and working on getting a part to repair my old one over time. The good news is that I may scrounge up enough on selling it to pick up a bit one once they get the bugs worked out of it - or a used one from someone who is frustrated. Actually - I may send an email to Audison and ask if they will sell a refurbed one once they get them fixed back up.

Anyhow, glad things are going the right way for a change.

Tried with Alpine parts? I don't know, maybe will be damn expensive. But this is the way I got my parts for my P9 combo's thru Pioneer Parts store.

i tried pacparts and didn't have any luck. last time I called alpine, that's where they directed me.

You do not want to use the factory grilles for the tweeters. The tweeters sound alot better without them. Make your own.
