Believe you can use the 880prs remote on the p99 as well, usually some of those floating around fs on ebay (which of course is hit and miss).

Without complete functionality, yes -other Pioneer remotes work. But for tuning, need the specific one.
I splurged for one and it doesn’t work anymore!

Yes i saw that , it seems like last resort.

I do have remote from P88rs which works partially.

That’s a good one, but yeah can’t tune completely with it and I hate wearing out the knobs in the faceplate during a long tune session.
