What are you looking to gain from the Helix over the Zapco?

Honestly, just RealCenter. I often have occupants in my vehicle and want to play around with a two-seat tune. I've researched upmixers and can't get a solid feel on anything that would be reliable/easy and feed the Zapco a true center.

Makes sense. Helix has those features built in & that makes it so desirable.
I have both & need to get my build put together. I want to get one set up then the other to decide which I prefer. It's the general consensus the HDSP sounds best, but Helix has the best tune-ability & interface.

For the short time I've had it, the HDSP has been amazing. Truly, I have absolutely zero complaints about its performance in terms of sound or tune-ability. I just need that RealCenter in my life.

I’ve considered it. Unfortunately, has limitations that make it unusable in my setup (too many channels). Also, I’ve heard they’re a huge pain to set up.
