should i go with more power with the nvx or go with the Zapco that has less power but potentially better sound quality? i plan on going active, (Pioneer TS-Z65CH) these components are rated at 110 Watts RMS. i just received a jl audio twk/not installed. i questioned earlier about going with a class d amp for my front stage and that nvx looks pretty solid. however, it is mass produced and it's a clone amplifier. will there be a huge difference in quality of sound between these two amplifiers? i listen to mostly metal and a majority of the time it's loud when i'm driving around.

In my opinion the class A/B Zapco ST SQ series is over rated for sound qaulity just because it has SQ in the name. I tested a 2X on my bench and it was ok but did not stand out from the others, including class D designs. Get the one with the most power as that will make more of a difference in the lower octaves.
