HAT unity 6.5 mids and an IDMAX10.. think I wil lhave plenty of power on tap for clean pure soundI've been eyeing that amp myself![]()
What's it going to power?
No it will be two sets oh hat unity's and the idmax 10You're only going to power a single pair of HAT 6.5" mids and a single IDMax 10"? Oh yeah, you're going to have headroom for DAYS!!!!! Enjoy and please let me know if there is anything I can do.
Ok, gotcha. That should be a great sounding system. And you will still have PLENTY of headroom. No it will be two sets oh hat unity's and the idmax 10

I really appreciate the clean, simple, classic and understated aesthetics of Patric'ks amps. Would love to try one some time. I'd need enough to juice to power XLS 8's, widebanders and a sub though.
Wow that is one clean looking amp, thanks for putting up the pictures iv been wondering
what they look like cause been wanting to get 2 of these for my system makes me want
them more now. Might have to cancel my wedding in a month and a half to get these
i'm sure the soon to be wife would understand....lol
Have you got it installed yet hows it sound compared to what you had??
i'm not going to open it up and break my warranty seal lol but if Patrick or zach want to post some inside guts I would be interested as wellOpen her up.....lets see the insides.
Btw- where did these numbers come from? Thats a ton of power and would be awesome for my application. Was one of these benched?eye_see_you said:this thing has plenty of power for that, 4 x 175 roughly maybe more and 1 x 1400 @ 2ohms
dont know if anyone else has, but on my bench it was less. still, plenty when compared to many other amps. however, Patrick has his own numbers, so i'll leave it at that. Was one of these benched?
no it wont. as an engineer, i can tell you that is a myth that someone who has no idea about amp design or marketing made up. however, i will say that you can get away with a 170-200 amp fuse... and no, you wont be able to figure out anything from that info...How much fusing does that need? That will give us a idea of the actual power output.
and... i can tell you that if you screw up and blow something up, then i know the guy that fixes them has a same day turnaround...Just to add nothing beats Zuki support and i mean nothing!
One week is extremely quick service.....beyond quick.but then again... people around here think a week turnaround for an amp fix is quick. i have no idea why.![]()
