Question on MECA rules for stock class

I recently got a new car, and am going to compete in stock class. I'd like to do a pair of subs IB in the rear deck, firing through the 6x9 holes. I've confirmed I can IB a pair of 8's there and stay in the class, but I'd really rather do 10's. Can anyone tell me if using 10's would push me up? There would be a baffle bolted to the bottom of the rear deck, so drilling holes to bolt the deck in place is technically cutting metal, but that's all that would be done. I'm assuming it would be, and is the same as making baffles for your doors.

Thoughts?

This is the answer I got today for you. If you have any questions please let me know and we can discuss off line.

This would be ok. The best solution is to mount a board to the rear deck. Then mount the woofer(s) baffle board(s) to that. No holes cut and no other mods to rear deck, other than what would be allowed in the rules.
