2022 Honda Accord Sport - where to get power in the trunk?

My son dumped his basket case of an Audi over the weekend for a Honda Accord Sport, so now he wants me to install the powered subwoofer he has in the back of the Accord.

It does not have a factory subwoofer that I can tell, so it looks like I will need to tap the speakers in the rear deck for a signal, but where can I get power / ground / remote turn on in the trunk? The Audi was simple in this regard, battery and the factory amp were readily accessible in the trunk for everything. I have no experience with Honda though, so no clue where to connect the powered sub.

Thanks.

From the battery to the firewall. If you have automatic , then there is a stamp on the firewall where the clutch would go if it was a manual. I used a step bit, drilled a hole that fit a 4ga grommet and ran my power thru there.

Or just drill your own hole , it’s simple with a step bit. Just make sure you know whats on the other side. So you don’t drill into anything.

Once you run the power to the back seats, remove those back seats, very easy, there anre YouTube videos. and you will see a path thru, into the trunk. I used the step bit again to make a slightly larger hole to the already existing one. Also in that same area there is a factory ground point , I just piggy backed on there , no problem.

you can tap into the rear speakers easily, if you plan to just use as sub, since the signal is not full range.

I can send pictures of these locations tomorrow. If needed.
