Ok so got a new truck and I want to finally install all my gear in.
I will be using the stock deck. The truck has 12 speakers. 3 way front, 2 way rear, center, and sub. I originally wanted to go with zapco dsp and ap amps but there isn't enough room in this truck. What i have found that would be more space conscious is a audison 12.14 or musway m12. Are there any other options that I'm not finding?

It's not mandatory but I would like to utilize it since it already has one. And yes I know that no dsp supports surround sound other than the jbl ms8. But it will be used for movies a lot while camping and such.
Equipment that is going into the truck will be hat l8se in doors, hat l3 pro in dash, l1r2 rings in sails l6se in rear doors and possibly another set of rings in rear doors. Still haven't decided on sub behind rear seat but I want to do ib like the stock sub.

Well i ended up getting the m12.
Now the last piece of the puzzle is subs.
I have found a few prefab boxes that can hold 1-2 12" or 1-4 10" sealed or ported some are behind seat some are under seat. But all require Shallow subs. I'm having a hard time deciding what to do since I've always been an IB guy and running 15" or larger subs.

I thought I was going to use the equipment I had but now it looks like I can't unless everything is done completely custom. But from what I have found we have 2.75 inches of top mount depth with a 1 inch spacer in the front doors and there are some 8s that will work...si tm8 is just Shallow enough. We can also gain just a little more room by spacing the window track back a little so more options are available. Unfortunately good and Shallow equals $$ and I have about a $1500-$2000 budget left for all the speakers. 3 way front, wideband in rear door and a center channel speaker. I already have everything else I need. I got the fox box for 4 10s and 4 sundown sml10s, musway m12 for processing and main speakers, d4s jp33 amp for the 4 10s, all the wire , connectors, rca's, sound deadner amp rack for back wall. I got a quote for the custom work for all speakers to be molded into the dash and doors.....3-4k sooo....speakers that fit easier is much cheaper. It's ok though I'll just put them into my malibu that has more space and options.

I don't want to give up quality just because I have to change the speakers.
So now i guess I'm back the the drawing board
