It's funny that when 3D printing first started the companies would say PLA is made from corn, and it's biodegradable, completely skipping over the plastic portion of the formula.

I've had PLA prints outside in the sun for 10 years and they are fine.

I've had PLA prints sitting on my work table outside, within a day in the sun, they were no longer flat. I have a squirrel table that is part ASA and part PLA. It's held up decently bolted to a tree, the PLA parts are showing issues. Part design matters a lot.

I suppose it depends on the state and color of the print. Mine are are white/marble and a giant gecko printed in orange. They are also just sitting there without stress, but still look the same. Structural parts may react different to the heat, but I doubt they will degrade and disappear any time soon.

The gecko I actually washed off and wire brushed it this summer and spray painted it copper, it was starting to get mildew or something on it.
