i have used the diamond tweeter a couple times over the years in my cars
And?
They held up well?
How did they perform in your opinion compared to other tweeters you have used?
Are they worth it overall?

I am considering these as well, for a couple of reasons. Most of all form factor. The other tweets I am very interested have large surrounds (as much as 4") that make their foot print for install in a dash overbearing to unreasonable. The other reason I am considering them is they apparently have the abillity to down into the 1500 range reportedly (im not sure if it was the automotive one or another).

Can you tell the difference between ceramic and diamond? im playing with the ideal of doing Accuton 2" diamond mid/high driver in my car. Accuton BD51-6 - home 6 ohm version. Can it be order for car? Any thought? Thanks.

The diamond tweeter series is totally on a different level from the ceramics. Accuton does not sell the diamond series to customers or automotive purposes, only for loudspeaker producers. Just to give you an example, the Accuton BD20 which is the smallest format tweeter now starts at 16,000/pair in the asian europeon market. The 2 inch driver you mentioned is the BD51, which is currently around 25000 USD+ for the pair, would have to look into it. And for the ultimate 5 inch diamond midrange... 75,000/pair.. anyways DM me if u need more info. Cheers!

Your price was very far off.
Talk to an actual Accuton distributor - not someone who tried to skip over the entire dealer/distributor network and was then refused by Accuton.

That’s my 2 cents.

Also Accuton dealers are not aloud to sell the Diamond speakers, only exclusive for loudspeaker producers.
Accuton Automotive dealers can certainly sell the Automotive Diamond versions of the drivers. Source: an actual Accuton Automotive dealer.

As to the home audio versions of the Diamonds - Im not sure who would even consider putting in that expensive of a driver (not built automotive conditions) inside of a vehicle.

Go ahead and try placing an order for one, see what you get as a response. Also, people do use the home audio accuton diamond line in cars... not even a dealer myself and know that.

The US distributor for Accuton Auto is the one who told me that they are authorized to sell the Diamond Line. But this conversation is going in circles. Agree to disagree.

And I’d love to see photos of those installs - they must be some unicorn level type of builds.

I haven't heard the Accuton Automotive tweeter, but for the money, IMO you'd be hard pressed to best either of the BlieSMa Beryllium tweeters.

Would love to hear a direct comparison between the BlieSMa Diamond tweeters and the Accuton Automotive tweeters, tho'!
The t25b is a bargain for what it does 🥰

Reads the above...scrolls back up to confirm that I read the previous message correctly...

Yep, read it correctly. Holy ****! $75,000 for two five inch speakers. o_O I'd like to meet the sheik that is building this install. Must be other-worldly. I would imagine they are galaxies past the "law of diminishing return".
