Hello everyone,

Just got a killer deal on MT-23 tweeter and Morel Hybrid MW5 woofers.

MT-23 is rated @ 130 RMS @ 6 ohms
Hybrid MW5 is rated @ 120 RMS @ 4 ohms

I’m planning on running these active. Would JL XD400/4 be enough to push these component comfortably? I am debating whether or not to add another amp. Please advise,

Thanks,
Luan

Hard to say for sure w/o knowing about the rest of the system, the music u listen to, etc.

The amp is rated for 75WRMSx4, and it's tightly regulated. So unless it produces a lot more than rated power, it won't be able to reach the full potential of those speakers. Again, that might be ok if u don't crank it and/or listen to acoustic guitar, soft rock, etc.

It'll be perfectly fine. A 75 watt per channel amp will push both the mid and tweeter well into loud listening levels. Doubling that power will only give you 3dB more output, at most. I would suggest that you stick with what you have.
