I want to add a sub to my vehicle and it has a dual voice coil subwoofer. It has four wires feeding the subwoofer. Do I need to use all four wires or can I only use two. Wiring says channel A +- and channel B+-. Never seen a situation where two separate channels are fed to one speaker. Not sure if I need a dvc sub or if I can use a svc off only one of the channels. Thanks.

I just used a Rockford Fosgate R2D4-10 in a small sealed box. Factory amp pushes it perfectly fine. It really is a good match for the B&O amp. It’s a dual 4 ohm in place of the dual 8 ohm so it does pull more power from the amp but it seems to happy to handle it. I found that many others have used 4 ohm and had no issues. It did really make the weak midbass of the door woofers more noticeable though. I’ll be changing those next.
