Has anyone used any of these paired to an iPad or similar to get their high res audio into a processor? I'm finding quite a few newer models that Support over 16/48 and will pair with any device. Outputs optical or s/pdif coax. Some also have built in dacs for outputting analog. I'm wondering what the quality really is. I'll probably order a couple different ones over the next couple of weeks to pair up with my iPad, streaming 24/96 , then into a desktop dac that has a display that reads what is being fed into it.

I used hdmi digital extractor to processors. Worked very well. Bluetooth will typically degrade signal but I was considering something like the arcam Bluetooth with new aptx Bluetooth which seems to pass a much higher quality signal.

I use a hdmi to optical extractor to feed my processor. I did not want to go the Bluetooth route as I wanted the best signal. I so far have had no need for a extra hard drive. If I did do Bluetooth I would use the Amas for the mosconi 6 to 8. And you could use one of the hard drives with wifi
