So I'm creating an AUX cable for my sister's Mazda Cx-7 and am having a small problem. I'm using this diagram to wire everything up:

When I stripped the jacket on the wires leading off the "jack" I'm not sure which one is Ground and which one I should use as my right or left channel. Here's a picture of the wire after I stripped it.

I'm guessing that I should connect each bare wire to an individual ground pin (so bare wire on the left goes to pin 4 and bare wire on the right goes to pin 6) is this correct?
Also the foil is unnecessary right? Thanks for your all of your help in advance guys. I just want to complete this for her so she can stop bugging me about being able to plug in her stupid ipod (idiots at Mazda never created an ipod or even a simple aux input)
