What is the volume level of the device when the DATs is connected and selected?

 

Check your microphone and output device settings. Might be some post processing, compression, etc turned on.

I've tried multiple levels from 1 to 30, 50, to 100.

Checked far as I can tell everything is off

No it just doesn't pick up anything no results like it's open circuit

I thought it was my USB hub but on my older computer I still have the same issues without the hub.

Rew doesn't pick anything up from it either but tbh I didn't expect it to.

 

Make sure audio enhancements are turned off and that the volume is turned up to 100.

 

Problem is I can't even get it to pull any measurement or even calibrate keeps giving me an error message saying reverting to old calibration

 

I verified the peg resistance is the specified 1kohm

Then during the calibration of leads I get this message even though I read 0ohm on my scope

 

If the test lead has good continuity but you're getting this message then the connection to the DATS module is bad or there's an open inside the box.

 

I ordered my DATs v3 during the pre-order, and initially had trouble getting it to work properly. I don't remember the exact solution, but I remember something either in the Q&A section, or the PE forums that fixed it. I would take a look there, then reach out to PE if it still doesn't work.
