so far I like them a lot. It’s not “airy” tweeter like the Utopia but that set costs 2x as much.

so far it doesn’t have that metal sound that comes with tweeters made of these materials.

I would say they seem to like to be on axis as much as possible. They start to roll off the top pretty quick.

So these are more “ideal” if your install is going to be more on axis.

I’m still in the break in stage so I only have a couple hours on them

and yes I’m a break in stage believer. Spiders get looser as music is played. And this is an unconventional tweeter as it’s built more like a typical speaker.

in short so far so good.

going for a retune in about a month. No complaints.

 

I can say I haven't heard or read a bad review. After almost a year, that's positive. 🤷‍♂️

The K2M are very capable speakers.
They can play very very loud with amazing output in midbass area

So I was planning a front sub soon with the the 10” Focal Flax but two of these new focal 5.5” subs would be Interesting and different.

I’m ambivalent cause I know how the 10” sounds. But these mini subs are temping me. I saw some installs online and they just looked soooo cool.

 

How is the Flax working out for you? Do you like them?
