Having difficult time finding Audi speaker harness.

I don’t understand why this is so difficult to find. I’m looking for the an adapter for my 2023 Audi q3 factory door speaker. The kind where you plug the factory connector into and it goes to spade connectors to connect to what ever speaker you want. Crutchfield doesn’t know what fits, no definitive answer I can find on Amazon I know what will fit.

what is the proper adapter ? Where can I source this ?

Why bother? Just tap into the wiring yourself and to hell with the connector. I solder (4% silver) all my speaker connections anyway... If you don;t solder or can;t, splice and crimp.

because I don’t cut off factory connectors on a $60,000 dollar car.

Your $60,000 car is just made up of a bunch of wires. splice and be done with it. This is a diy site
i cant get speaker connectors for 2023 civic so no wonder you cant find any for a new audi.
Just because you can doesn’t mean you should. I am of the mindset that…

1. Not a single Oem wire should be cut. Cutting and re-splicing the factory connector back on is a hack.

2. Why make a harness if someone makes a plug and play solution at a reasonable cost. Time is money.

3. Everything you do to the car should be able to go back to stock.

After “trial and error” the correct adapter was Metra. 72-9002. You can either plug a single 2 pin connector or 4 pin connector into it. In the case of the Audi Q3 you only need 2 pins since the tweeter has a separate connector of its own.

Glad u found adapters. I dont remember which audio version u have. If its bose or b&o then each oe driver has its own 16 awg wire right to the oe amp. My sq5 with base system has one set of wires for front left and there is a passive xover for door bass driver and dash tweeter. I had to run wires in order to run 3 way active.
good luck with the build.
Exactly! You get what I am trying to do. I have the Sonos system which is nothing more than a label. It’s pretty much using the same amp and speakers as a b&o stamped Q5.

I have nice 16 gauge coper from the doors to the amp. I ordered Oem harness from a crashed Audi/VW and stole the pins out of it . I’m going to grab the speaker outputs from the OEM amp under the drivers seat t which is a very short run to where the new amps will go.

fortunately for me I don’t have to run any new wires into the doors as the factory already had speakers there. I’m just using these metra adapters for the very short distance to connect to that factory 16 gauge without cutting off the connector.
