Mono Amo or Bridge?

I think I understand the benefits of a quality "D" class mono amp, but it seems most lower price point mono amps are A/B class. If being able to drive a 2-ohm load isn't important, is there any real advantage to the a/b class mono amps vs bridging a 2 ch amp - for example to drive a single 4 ohm sub? I see that there might be some added benefit of remote bass control or extra filtering, etc. but is that worth the extra cost.

I'm shopping for an amp to supply 300-350w to a sub and am finding it more cost effective to use a 2 ch. amp

Thanks

a class D is gonna be more efficient, I prefer class A/b for everything, but for a sub there isnt gonna be much of a difference, exceot for efficiency, if class a/b is gonna be cjeaper and fits your power need then I would do class a/b, its not like a 300-500 watt class a/b amp is gonnna pull ridiculous amounts of power from your charging system anyways
