Going to respond to the other post you made on this. I can tell you that you didn’t make a bad choice in buying the V8 and I can understand being a little confused and frustrated if this is your first time ever in the software but I can assure this is all user caused issues.

Greatly appreciated. I do have a basic set up. However I accidentally set it up as virtual routing even though I did not activate virtual routing. So my drivers side rear speaker was actually under the subwoofer channel and thus the subwoofer volume control was affecting that speaker. I have since fixed this issue and just muted the rear spearkers. Also I did manage to finally find a video on set up for these DSP‘s that explained Digital and HEC routing better just after I made the post. Don’t know why it took so long to find that video, I guess I was just typing the wrong search words in.

Hey folks - I wanted to create a single thread to capture some new and past video Resonix Sound Solutions have been putting out on their Youtube for free that has some excellent help targeted at ATF (Helix, Brax, Match) platforms. These videos answer probably 90% of the questions I see arise on the forum when it comes to these DSPs and their software. There's also some other great tips on using WiniSD and REW included in the videos.

For anyone who owns one of these DSPs, seasoned or not, should take the time to watch these - I've been picking up small details on each video that have been helping my tuning or a better set up.

Keep in mind when the videos are posted and software versions are continually being updated from ATF.

First of all, this is all amazing info. Thank you so much guys. Im stumped on one part on my V8. There isn't an advanced tab in the input gain setting. Nick was able to adjust the channels individually in the advanced tab. What am I missing? I’ve been searching for days now and I can’t find anything so im sure its me doing something wrong.
