Hi, hoping someone here will know if the results of my Dayton Audio Dats (v2) test of Skar's VD8-V4 subwoofer are 'within normal ranges.'
I tried to call Skar Audio, but their 'customer service' phone number (888-501-7527) has a voicemail that says they aren't helping people 'temporarily.' I reached out to them via email with my test results asking the same question, and they said to just use their stock parameters to build an enclosure. So I emailed Kevin Schlenker, their CEO (Kevin@skaraudio.com) asking him to forward the question to someone who would help. So far nothing......
The DATS test was performed following the requirements of calibrating the software and warming up (played it for 20 minutes) the subwoofer. The results are attached, along with the manufacturer specs.
I'm not an audio specialist so I don't know if these results are 'close' to what Skar Audio claims. Just looking for an opinion on the parameters, I don't need suggestions on buying a different subwoofer, etc. Thank you.
