Has anyone used these? I am considering buying one or two of them to and open them up to post some gut shots and take some measurements.. I am very intrigued by the low price and very compact size of them. Power density is very high looking at the 2000 watt model. And price??? $170 for 2000 watts RMS at 1 ohm? Crazy....

I have used other Stinger Electronics products, and always been quite happy. I know there is debate about some of the headunits being good or not.. but i have not personally used those.

If you have any experience with these amplifiers, please let me know! It seems hard to believe these power ratings are true...

I’ve used and have the MT1500 mono. It does put out the power BUT seems to like to pull the current also. Got warm quickly in our case. Had to get better alternator and battery ( which was probably needed anyways ). The vehicle is a 1994 Chevy Suburban. Running it at 1 ohm. Keep in mind, it was in my brothers SUV and he “really” likes BASS. Never quit though, So, for the money it can be a very serviceable amplifier
