You have obviously not been into home audio or done any research into swan hivi speakers and drivers
well, i know a little about it, just took this pic in my condo in Chicago, master artist mtm speakers and sub driven by gold note mono blocks and streamer/power supply, kimber carbon cables. i have dyna evidence platinums as well driven by octave amps/preamp at my house, but hey, what do i know:rolleyes::rolleyes:

difference is, i live it, you dream about it and that really is as close as you will ever get to having it

Regardless, I think him and I both care more about the fact that they are clearly ripping off a known look from a much more successful company to sway others into thinking they're great, regardless of how good or bad they sound. To me, that's scummy and not a brand I want to support no matter how good they are. I'm sure he would agree. but I won't speak for Porsche.
Also, the link you posted.. you said "looks high end to me".. So now you are basing performance off looks? Yeah, you are exactly their target customer. Thanks for making my point.
as usual you and i agree. i always laugh when i see a speaker like this $41k speaker, has like 30 drivers per tower, where's McIntosh when you need them. i have never heard a speaker i would own that has multiple drivers like this.

We all know you LIVE it, doesn’t mean you have to be such a douche about it. Obviously we aren’t as well off as you, and like to express that often. STATEMENT REMOVED BY MOD

Clearly any speaker with that many drivers can’t possibly sound good and this guy has no industry experience or idea what he’s talking about.

Happy new year’s bud!

two things...i was about to type...what about the infinity, and more importantly tell me about your remote? I have been in limp mode for years trying to find a great remote to replace my many Harmony 880's.

if you are controlling a tv, surround system the urc is pretty simple and works like a champ. you can get into a urc remote/processor/programmed for probably $1k, 100 times better than a harmony. RTI makes a remote almost identical as the urc as well, price about the same if you have a dealer around you

i do prefer urc tho, i use to use rti but there support etc isn't as good, atleast it wasn't 6-7 years ago. urc seems to hold up better as well imo

Look now we agree on something, both of those are fine options. Control 4 also makes a great product these days, it all depends on what your trying to control and if you’re looking to expand into other things in the future Lights/door locks/thermostat’s/ect…

Gui’s and remote styles vary so find something that fits you.

lol that was good. 😁

Doesn’t seem to be the place for savant or crestron but we can go there to. Might have a couple pronto’s laying around if you think that’s better.

@miniSQ Urc is your friend if that’s all your looking to control. Skip rti there day has passed.

sorry sport, i have been doing crestron for 20 years so you really have zero clue about me. i use urc/total control to compete with control 4 and savant. i have been pursued for many many years to pick up c4 and savant, but i wouldn't do that to my clientele.

no idea why you mention pronto, garbage but im sure you have a lot of experience with it.

What a joke! Are you kidding?

Urc vs control4/savant not even close!!

Ive been around the same amount of time and I’ve gone through them all. To even put those companies in the same sentence is asinine. There’s a reason snapav has exploded in the last decade and actually bought control4 and tore all the other older brands to pieces.

For you Mr. High end to push a system that can be bought on Amazon or sold to any trunk slammer who shows up to a distributor and actually believe its better. That’s just crazy!!

if you say so. total control isn't far behind c4 if it is being them at all, i don't do a lot of total control/urc, probably 10-15% of my business, the rest if master artist/crestron/dyna, im happy with my results/numbers

gimme a break, don't tell me about trunk slammers and selling to anyone, thats the c4 way of doing business, snap avi deal with them a little for accessories, they haven't torn crestron to pieces, thats comical

im sure you are the expert, you really seem to know your stuff with all your years in the industry(y)

I seriously don’t understand how you own and run a business. The grammar alone is cringe worthy!

You actually admit urc is behind and it’s not by a small margin.

C4 is the furthest thing away from some easily accessible, trunk slamming un trained install. I’ve been installing it for yrs and literally have to confirm my active credentials every 10 days or the software won’t even open.

Im happy your business is doing good and wish the best for you, but we won’t agree on this.

1) oh plz, i type in a hurry, you got me on grammar. been doing pretty well now going on 23 years, how about you, how long have you been in business, how many employees you have, what do you do in sales a year?

2) total control isn't far behind c4, like i said, i have been pursued by c4 for 10 years. i wouldn't do business with them for any amount of money, c4 was started by the guys that started phast/panja, do you even know who that is? there products are cheaply built today just like they where with phast/panja, that company put a lot of dealers out of business because of there lighting systems, so don't tell me how great they are, im sure they are better now since snap av merged with them but like i said, if i want them i can get it, i will pass. im sure you are one of those dealers that claims c4 will do what crestron does, probably for less money, blah blah blah, i hear it all the time in memphis, just remember tho, they (c4) will never be crestron

3) my businesses are doing just fine, i am really looking forward to 2022, all the best
