I have 2 Polk audio dxi 6.5 components. I slipped with a screwdriver and broke a section of the crossover circuit board off. NOw I am short one crossover. So can you run 2 mids and 2 tweeters off one crossover? I know it will change the ohm load on the amp, but other then that will it work?

Yes it will "work" but it wont sound as good as it would as if you had separate xovers per set of components. The xovers are designed by many parameters; one being impedance. When that changes, the components of the xover should also change. Replacements shouldnt be too hard to find.

I Could go active. I have an eclipse 3242 4 channel amp, and a Polk pa660 4 channel amp. So I have 8 channels to work with. I have jbl 4x6 cOmponent plates in the dash location. Was going to do a 6.5 component set in the kicks. Possibly the second set in the doors. And I have a Set of 6.5 inch Polk dxi 2 ways in the rear. Which I was going to wire so I could turn them off when I don't want the rear fill.
