Hey guys just asking for any insight from tuners out there and what they would do to improve an eq curve like this one and or what you guys think of it as a stock eq setting. Speakers are morel maximus he. Head unit is a jvc with 13 bands eq adjustment.

Not a massive amount you can do other than set levels with the 13 global bands you've got.

Start with cutting the peaks off where the eq bands match your RTA peaks.

Play with each band with the rta in real-time mode to get a feel at what's achievable.

Was the EQ set to Flat or Off when you took that measurement or was it on a preset like Pop, Rock, Jazz etc? Does that HU have a Loudness feature? A model number might help. As others have already said, you’ll want to make EQ cuts to smoothen the response across the board.

Assuming your JVC has the same bands as mine and that you are playing a component set with no sub: slight boost at 63hz, slight cut at 400hz, significant cut at 6300hz (might have to go all the way down), slight cut at 10000hz. Use the highest Q.

You HU has lots of DSP features. EQ, TA and active crossovers. What's connected to it down stream? In terms of amps and speakers and locations? I assume that RTA measurement was with all speakers playing? TA should be set properly first if doing that.

Its connected to a 4 channel hertz dpower amp and morel maximus he on passive xovers. Rta is measure with only TA and xovers dialed in

Use your crossovers and passive crossover switches to help make it flat and work around where eq misses it

You can find the right combo with a deck eq and crossovers and amp crossovers

Just find the right combo and it’s ok to break from left and right symmetry in this situation if the response can be more flat…

Do whatever controls you have to get the same shape of responce on both sides maximally flat

I dont have adjustable passive crossovers but i’m going to experiment with what i have with the head unit crossovers
