Check price

I sold my Audio Control 3.1 many years ago and I regret it. Is anyone interested in selling one?

Back in the 90's, I had a Kenwood KGC-4042A that I really liked, but sold it. I wouldn't mind having one of those, either. However, everyone I see selling one is asking $200 to $350 for one. I will not pay that much. If anyone is willing to part ways with one for a decent price, I'll consider it as well.

I have an Audio Control Three.2 BNIB sitting on the shelf collecting dust, if it's of any interest to you...

Not an EQ but a great piece of crossover gear. I have one of these in my collection out in the garage, it's a Sony XEC-505. (this link is not my add, just for show and mine is really great shape, and clean!) Truly one of the best sounding units I ever used. All Butterworth and no noise. Ithink that I paid $149.99 like 15 years ago.

I remember that crossover. It was a nice crossover, but I never understood why they made that a dash mount unit. Crossovers are generally set and forget and that's why most are trunk mount. If they added an EQ, that would make it an even more amazing piece for dash installation.

Nobody? How do you explain the trunk mount crossovers and EQs? Almost every competitor in IASCA had trunk mount processors. But, you are correct about many people preferring to mess with stuff from the dash. Every respectable manufacturer released dash mount and EQs and DEQs because of that. I've built systems with both options many times.
On a side note, the best sounding audio system I built for myself had an Alpine CDA-7995 head unit with Diamond Audio D7 amps, Hex Components, and subs. No outboard processors and it sounded amazing.
