Something is OFF, I use a Match UP10 DSP. Just loaded the new software, using the same setup, EQs and TA, but the sound is completely different, sounds really bad. And since the ACO Version is different, I can not go back to PC Tool 5.

Anyone had this same problem?

Or how can I return the Match to it's previous setup?

Reloading DSP... I hope it does the trick.

I don't know if this has been talked before, propably is because the implementation was same for earlier pc tools aswell.

why the "Not assigned" channels are visible outside the routing tab? Usually you would hide "disabled" features from the GUI, because they add no real value when operating the software.

E: found a minor glitch, which happens after you give names for the channels(atleast in test mode), so give names of your liking, then when hovering mouse over the windows 11 bottom bar preview, the naming dialogs all pop up for the preview.
E2: actually this glitch happens with all the popup windows the software does have.

They removed it..... When I clicked on the link, and then try to download, I was taken to a 404 page....

I have the Helix Ultra S, so I was really hoping to get a look at it....
Worked for me, I was able to download and save to desktop - and I don't even need it!

"Disabling" allpass filters is still glitched at times.

1. Enable all pass filter
2. Decide it was not needed
3. Change the eq type of that band to something else
4. All pass is still active until you change values of the new eq type.(Color of the eq band is for all pass aswell)

I think the behaviour was same for dsp tool 5 aswell, in my opinion it would be great if the allpass would get disabled correctly everytime when changing the eq band type.

I think the filter selection needs a rethink - There were some serious bugs here on PCT5 (like it looking like you've got a Low Shelf selected, sometimes showing, sometimes not on clicking to another band and back). Shame if those have carried over

You can just load pc tool 5 and connect it and it will just reload that tools aco drivers 👍🏼 then load the old setup you were happy with

general feedback is that pc tool 6 and its algorithms make a tiny improvement to the sound so I’d suspect something got mixed up on import… very strange that it isn’t as good

Import sounds right - first time round mine sounded awful. No clue why. Left it, tried again, absolutely fine.

Hopefully it’s that simple 👍🏼
It was odd - the first time round, it didn't seem to import any of the bits in the tick list (the Load... checkboxes, regardless of whether I did Load All, or checked them all).

I think some of the low/high shelves I had set failed to come over too, mind I'm not convinced they were working properly in V5 due to some interface bugs.

Was doing a tune last night, hit save when out of the software and the system went back to previous tune like it never happened. And the other tunes I had messed up too. I'm going back to 5 until this is released for a final. Cause a lot was done and the system started to sound dead on....

I've been getting some random glitches in the past 24 hrs...

Random turning off of channels when in the tool working, channel will be selected as active but sound becomes muted. Button becomes non responsive.
Which version and Dsp please and I’ll pass it on 👍🏼

Did you not save it to the pc also? Always save it to the pc, I don’t think I’ve ever had a setup fail to save to the pc when I’ve saved it to a slot

It did auto save and saved directly to the PC. Still was messed. Had no subwoofer playing. Tried to restart the tune, turn the mute on and off. Nothing worked. So I went back to 5 and will use it until all the bugs are out.
