Bump.. anyone?

 

In 2010 I got mine from manufacturer2 on ebay

Here's the description "Car Radio FM Band Frequency Expander FM Converter 18MHz" unfortunately he doesn't seem to sell anymore

It's working very well with my p01, but JDM range is very limited compare to US one so depending on your unit and your favorite station you might want to get a different shift freq (mine is 18MHz)

 

Well im going to try the 12mhz one from New Zealand and see how it does.

 

How does it work, can you mount the switch some place?

Mine came from Australia too, so it's probably the same one

 

This looks a lot like the one I got but mine has a metal housing.. I put some electrical tape around it.. not sure what would happen if it grounded out.

How low and how high can you tune in?

 

So many of these dang things.. it seems like 16 or 18 is ideal for what I am looking for.

 

if i recall manufact2 said that if you tell him the main stations you want to pick up here he can recommend which one to get. i think i got the 14mhz one for mine

Got a hold of a 18mhz one and it works GREAT.. whoever says these don't work must be in a bad area or just got the wrong expander.. I pickup every station I want besides 93.7.. 17mhz would be perfect for me.. 93 to 107 would hit all I listen to. I can give up one station though!
