For the last few months, I've been checking out some budget car audio brands and one day I came across Harmony Audio. I checked the pricing of their amps, speakers and subs and they are comparatively cheap compared to other brands out there. Also most of their products have 'OK' reviews. Has anyone tried out their products and what are your opinions on their amps?

I’m using their power distribution blocks and it’s actually excellent quality. But I’ve read some horrible reviews on their sub enclosures... not sure about their amps or speakers.. not sure I would risk it they obviously don’t manufacture anything themselves...

before anyone comment about the age of the post compare to date of my comment: yes i know this is an old post. i am now getting a sound system installed in my trailblazer. i got me a harmony Audio HA-F124 Subwoofer with a custom trailblazer box. the amp is from harmony which came with the package. the amp only produces half the wattage of the subwoofer. even what they sell for the speakers and the amps they recommend for the speakers are a joke. go look it up. the c65 (what they recommend with the f124 sub) is rated 150w rms per speaker yet the amplifier from harmony audio they would recommend only produces half that rms wattage. now would i recommend harmony Audio to be used in competition? heck no but for everyday use they are decently made speakers with good quality sound. also opinions are like a**holes. everyone has one. some stink worse than others. for the amplifier for the f124 i went with the orion xtr1000.1 and the c65 i went with orion xtr1000.4 for the full performance that these speakers are rated for. just like everything else. you can get a good, bad or ugly quality product from any company. with that being said, start with a subwoofer box. where are you gonna place the subwoofer box? then pick a subwoofer that will fit within that box. pick the subwoofer you like then check with the subwoofer manufacturer on the speakers they would recommend to match the subwoofer. then look for amplifiers that will match the rms wattage rating for the subwoofer and speakers. otherwise no matter what you do, it'll sound like crap if you don't.
