Hello all.

I'm looking for a 6 channel amp to power my Morel Elate 3way. Don't want go crazy or go with 3 amps 2 channel. Was looking for something simple for now and came across these JL XD and Helix M both 6 channel. Never heard any of those before. Currently holding a DSP Helix, Morel Elate 3way, Sub JL powered by Moscone One 1k.

Anyone has any experience to share about?

Thank you all.

Thank you guys. Yes, I had the same impression they would perform equally. The only plus I see to JL is the easy access to buy online or at any store. Have been talking to all dealers near me and not single one has the Helix available but they do have the JL and I don't trust ebay to buy any Helix equipment. So I think I'm going for the JL for now.

I’ve had the Kenwood XR401-4, Alpine PDX’s, Audison 5.1k, JL HD 600/900/750, Helix PSiX Mk2, and now Mosconi Pro 5|30 and 4|10

You will be shocked to learn my least favorite (after the kenwood) was the Audison. Why? Their noise floor / ability to control it sucked in comparison to the rest. I bought the Audison for its names sake a long time ago.

Best sounding amp imho? Mosconi Pro. Very close 2nd the Helix PSix. Further out but still plenty good and handled noise floor well was the HD amps but sometimes they couldn’t keep up. I heard the slash series is technically better but I’ve never heard it.

If you’re looking for an amp only then Mosconi pro is amazing, if you have to save the space and want a 2in1 the Helix. But I don’t like the software and touchiness of Helix overall, others beg to differ but that’s the reason I left it. Running minidsp DL + Moscone’s it’s the best I’ve ever had.

Thank you all guys. I'm very familiar with Audison, Mosconi and Helix equipments. I have here one audison bit one dsp and lrx4.1amp resting in my closet. The only reason I'm going for 1 ampli 6 channel is because of space. I have a baby coming and I'm trying to move everthing from my trunk to under the seats. I believe 75rms can do very well when installed and tuned properly so I'm not concerned about power. I was just looking for opinions about how both performe since I never heard these two amps before.

Yeah, my comment was deleted as well and I suspect this one will soon follow suit. I don't have a problem with you, but I don't need to run to DM's when I disagree with unsolicited, and imo bad advice. Isn't this an open discussion?OP asked about 6 channel amps and you advise him to sell his superior dsp, probably at a loss, and buy the same amp you constantly tout here. How is that helpful?
