I have a McIntosh MX406 that I'm looking to sell. It was tested today and is entirely working.

The tuner cannot pick up signal here in Korea, where I live. I was told that it's a European version, whatever that means, I guess something to do with signal frequency but it can't pick up stations here. I'm assuming that it does work in America.

It does have the DC box. Sorry it's not pictured.

The volume knobs are both missing but can be found on Ebay for $50 a piece or maybe some nice "universal" ones in a similar style could be picked up for much less.

This is the first place I've posted it because I need some feedback on what a proper price would be. On Ebay, it seems they go from $650 up to around $1,500. Before, I post it elsewhere, I would like some feedback as to what it's worth or what I can sell it for. I'm also willing to listen to offers. I can take more photos at request.

note that I'm in South Korea, shipping could cost around $50 but I will verify at the post office if there's a serious buyer.

I’d really love to have a head unit like that. But I just can’t afford to spend that kind of money on an old school head unit. I’m right now using a CLARiiON double din touchscreen which was one of the top of the line , for sound quality head units. It uses a 30 pin iPhone cable to hook up an I pod or something like that. I did buy an adapter to plug into it , for a newer lightning cable, and I can play music through it using that , but it does no charging of the iPhone

Well this one only has AUX so you can play music from an external device. But it’s not going to charge your device or have any other modern features. You can make a bid on it if you like. Who knows, if I can’t sell it, I might come back to you in the future.
