These were in my truck for about 6 months professionally installed and uninstalled I chose them based off a high value amplifier shoot out. I bit, ordered two and after auditioning one knew that the reviewers of this amp were spot on. Very good sound, stage nice and wide, “can hear the room around the instruments”, etc. I picked up a third as backup (now sold).

Here’s that article:

Well that was before picking up some Tru amps for many times the cost and why these are now for sale.

what can be done with these:

1) an amazing 3 channel front set up with 2 amps both bridged from 4 channel down to 3 channels to total 6 channels,4 giving 70 rms (actual 83rms according to dyno's online) and 2 giving 160rms (230rms according to dyno)

2) with the addition of a 3rd amp to the above 2 amp scenario a rear fill + center mid+ center tweeter can be done or a Rearfill + left / right underseats can be done to address the common nearfield null issues.

I wouldnt have missed out on this and would have bought all 3 if I was in the states, truely very nice amps tbh good luck to both the seller and buyer.

These amps are incredible. I run a two-way front stage, rear coax, and sub. I started out with a Mosconi One 80.4 running tweets and rear coax and powered the mids with a Mosconi 250.2. I had a lot of money invested in those two amps, and while they sounded good, prior experience told me I could do just as well for much cheaper. So, I replaced these amps with two of the Sony's with one of them bridged. All I can say is I was floored at the difference in the width of the soundstage and the overall clarity. They sound awesome. I must note that 70 watts wasn't enough for my midbass (IMO)and I honestly don't think it puts out much more bridged. That said, it's still plenty loud and sounds amazing. Sony knocked it out of the park when you consider price vs. quality. Absolute hidden gem.. I'm guessing due to the low price. Good luck with the sale.

the ideal setup with 2 of these amps isnt to use one for midrange and tweeters and the other bridged from 4 channels to 2 channels but to actually bring down both amps from 4 channels to 3 channels and use one for complete left side speakers and the other for right side speakers, this makes it possible:

1) to lower load, bridging a 4 channel down to 2 channel is equalivant to running all 4 channels at 2ohms it will really drain the amp (most likely why it wasnt putting much on the table for you for your midbass compared to the unbridged 70rms) while instead bridging it down to 3 channels will have far less load on the amp especially if the remaining 2 channels per amp is only feeding a midrange ,rearfill and/or tweeter.

2) it seperates the left from the right completely meaning left/right seperation will be improved

Hey. Post #3 mentions that these amps exceed rated manufacturer power on tests (dyno) and puts it at 230 for bridged. So that’s either 230 x 2 or 230 x 3. Or bridging only 1 channel (tri mode) you’re closer to 83 x2 and 230 x1. In bridged mode it’s 4 ohm stable which means any channels bridged need speakers rated for 4 ohms. For any unbridged channels you can go down to a 2 ohm load which raises power output slightly.
230 for a sub isn’t a lot, but depends on the application which is why Kenny (a good seller on here) chimed in saying he has a mono amp. Generally if you want an all in one solution that’s compact then D class is the way to go. The rub is that if you want a natural sounding D class amp some would argue that you have to spend decent coin. Hence why many guys go AB for front and D for sub.
