I running active by using Soundstream class A 6.0 (in blue color) for Focal TNK tweeter, and Genesis Dual Mono for Focal K2 Power woofer as my front stage.

I noticed that Soundstream Class A 5.0 & 10.0 are in silver color and they have no selection of high current / power output.

If anybody could tell me whether the the Sounstream Class A 5.0, 6.0 & 10.0are the products in the same catagory / stage ?

Thank You Very Much !

please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong

the class A 5.0 and 10.00 where more geared toward sub amps since the rating's where geared towards the wattage ratings way back when for spl..... the picasso was designs to run the front end. The 6.0 was rated for alot more in stereo at 4 ohms than the 5.0

I myself would use the 6.0 for sub or front stage,.... but the 5.0 i'd run for subs only,... I know my friends 10.0 @ 4 ohms left alot to be desired,... and my rubicon 5.2 leaves alot too....

Thank You !

Currently I using an old school sub woofer of Rockford (Punch Pro Series SPP-122 4 Ohm) which are power by bridging the 3 & 4 channels of Alpine MRP-F450 while power only at 200W.

Do you think that it is more appropriate if I could change the Alpine to a Soundstream 5.0 ?

Thanks again !

I wouldn't think twice about swapping out the alpine for the soundstream, the soundstream is a far better amp...... I've never liked alpines amps. headunits and processors and such sure... but their amps seem nutless. set the gains correctly on the 5.0 and you shouldn't have an issue.
