I'd personally look for a 6ch amp.

 

Why?

Typically a 6 channel amp will not have as much power with bridged channels as a dedicated 5 channel amps sub channel. The 6 channels amps are also usually limited with impedance load when bridged- most being 4 ohms minimum load.

Also, one more requirement: Must have defeatable crossovers to operate full range (at least on the 4 channel section).

Thanks. The reason for the 2ohm stable is because the sub is a 2ohm sub and does nto have great sensitivity, so adequate power will be needed to drive it. A compact 5 channel will save $ for the budget and require less from an install standpoint. I was looking at:
-Soundstream RS5.4500
-JL Rd900/5 used

The sundown also looks like it could work (thanks).

If j could fit 2 I'd try and get 2 for my truck but I can't really fit 1 let alone 2.

I personally think this has been my favorite amp I have every owned. The d5.1000 I hate though.
