Hello,
I am looking to replace a couple of old school amps that have been giving me some trouble (PPI TD275's, pictured in avatar). They are known for unreliable tube heater circuit, and bad relays. I have now had 2 of my 3 with these symtoms over the last 3 years. Long story short, I'd like to replace them in my install. Given the real estate, the footprint for the two amps is roughly 19"w x 17"h. So I need a relatively small footprint amps. I am running a set of 2ohm 8" mid bass's with one amp, and a set of illusion c3cx in pillars with the other. My Electrics are fairly stout, 150a alternator, big 3, Northstar 27f agm, shuriken 50ah secondary.

I've bought a fair amount of used gear, most of which has always had its underlying issues. Really looking for a great pair of NIB amps, freshly modded, or severely low hours amps. Pretty happy with my system overall, so no need to gut it and redo it. Over the last 3 years, I estimate about 1000 hours total, on the system, with several iterations.

Using a Clarion DRZ for source duties.

Hoping to find a great pair of reliable, attractive amps, that will sound as good or better than my ppi tube amps.

I'd be happy to pm some photos of my install if you want to see what I did in my Tacoma.

Thank you

I have a BNIB Zapco Z150.6 II and a Z150.4 II that was used for about 3 months in my GLK. The 150.6 is 24" and the 150.4 is 19", so not sure if you can fit them, but I will sell the pair well within your given budget
